ACS Launches New Website Designed to Educate Market

Emphasis is on Informing About Managed-IT Services and Cybersecurity Issues

Brockton, MA, April 18, 2023 ACS Services, Inc., one of New England’s leading Managed-IT providers, announced today that it has launched a new website that places a strong emphasis on educating the small and medium-sized business markets about both outsourcing information technology management and the strategies available for neutralizing and mitigating cybersecurity threats.

The new site (http://www.acs.com) went online on Monday, April 10, and, according to the firm’s President, William Adams, Jr., its launch marks a milestone in the firm’s growth and development.

“Being recognized as a thought-leader is important to ACS because the Managed-IT sector is growing and this means prospective clients must sort through a myriad of service providers to identify which ones actually have the knowledge and expertise to effectively manage their IT infrastructure and to address their Cybersecurity needs,” said Adams.  “Our new website was designed with this in mind.  It includes a vast amount of educational information that will help clients, and those potentially interested in working with us, make better and more informed decisions about their IT needs and how our capabilities can be leveraged to address them.  Among other things, these materials include articles, case studies, information sheets, interviews, and videos.  Over time, we also expect to expand this inventory and include recordings from our new podcast series:  “The ACS is IT Podcast,” he continued.

According to Adams, the new website was developed by Freshy Sites (https://freshysites.com/), a leading web design firm that is known for developing attractive, compelling, high-impact websites that are user friendly and easy for visitors to navigate.

“Freshy Sites understood that our primary objective was to build a new website that would be attractive and interesting to visitors – but one that also would enable them to meet their information needs about Managed-IT services and cybersecurity quickly and efficiently,” said Adams.  “We think our new website does this and we are looking forward to expanding it with new and different types of useful content in the days to come.”

The decision to build the site was part of a broader marketing strategy that ACS has embraced to position itself more aggressively for future growth.  Tim Hallett, Director of Sales for the firm, said that ACS has been raising its presence in the New England business community through traditional and digital marketing efforts and social media for the last 18 months – the goal being to compete more effectively with larger Managed-IT firms.

“We have something unique to offer small and mid-sized companies that need a strong Managed-IT provider that has advanced cybersecurity capabilities,” said Hallett.  “We are highly differentiated from some of our peer companies because we are an independently owned and operated firm that treats clients like partners by providing exceptional service.  There is a lot of consolidation occurring in this space as private equity firms gobble up and integrate Managed-IT firms with the goal of generating high valuations so they can liquidate them and cash in.    Unfortunately, clients are being left behind as this occurs because service levels inevitably decline and lead to high levels of dissatisfaction.  We have been around since 1985 and were one of the first firms in New England to offer outsourced Managed-IT services.  Our extremely low-rate of client turnover speaks to the quality of the services we have consistently offered since that time and our new website, and the other marketing work we are doing to raise our profile and mold market perceptions of ACS, really emphasize this as an important and highly distinguishing attribute,” he concluded.
